Our boxes are composed with an artist's intuition and herbalist's sensibility. Your food is selected and delivered with care.

In order to provide you with the best experience possible, you have a choice of three kinds of boxes: regular, raw, and local. We also encourage you, as a customer, to decide which foods to emphasize and exclude from your orders - select 3 items to avoid and you will never get these, as well as 3 favorites, which you will get as often as we can find them.

All orders are by subscription: You order a set number of boxes that are delivered over a certain period of weeks. At the end of those weeks the subscription is automatically renewed unless you cancel your subscription by the day of the last delivery.

You have one month to try the service at no risk: If you cancel within this time we will refund you your money for any undelivered boxes. After that there are no refunds. If you suddenly decide to move to Tajikistan and have a number of undelivered boxes you may either have them delivered to a local food bank, or to a friend or neighbor. 

Boxes are $30. 

Basic subscription options:

4 boxes over 4 weeks. $120 — Every week.
6 boxes over 8 weeks. $180 — You pick the weeks.
8 boxes over 16 weeks. $240 — You pick which.
10 boxes over 24 weeks. $300 — You pick which.

Billing cycle is 4, 6, 8 or 10 weeks.

Why are the number of boxes and amount of weeks spaced like this? Well, over the years of providing organic food for people, it has been our experience that some folks like a box less often than once a week.

Folks like to take vacations or have business out of town occasionally . If you know you are going to be away over the holidays, away for business or gone during the summer you can get the kind of subscription that keeps you supplied while you are home but is dormant while you are away.

When you subscribe you email us a list of weeks when you want deliveries, and weeks you don't; you can update this list at any time during your subscription, making sure you only get deliveries when you are home to use them.

Discount subscription options: 

If you have boxes delivered weekly, and get a long term subscription, you will earn bonus boxes.

9 boxes for the price of 8. $240
14 boxes for the price of 12. $360
19 boxes for the price of 16. $480
24 boxes for the price of 20. $600

Bonus boxes are delivered in sequence like normal boxes. Billing cycle is the number of weeks equal to the number of boxes: 9, 14, 19 or 24.

Box Styles:

You also get to choose from three box varieties: Standard, Raw, or Local.

The Standard Box contains all of our available items, within your preference. This box typically consists of a wonderful medley of root and green vegetables, local in-season and tropical fruit, hearty greens, tasty salad makings, and flavorful herbs.

The Raw Box contains only items which can be juiced, or which require no cooking. Items such as celery, apples, and parsley go in this box, but not potatoes, eggplant, squash, et cetera. Careful attention is given to maintaining the same level of variety as in the Standard Box.

The Local Box contains regional produce only: the same high-quality food as the regular box, without imports or out of season items.

Your box is delivered in a wax-cardboard produce box that folds down for easy storage until our next visit, when we will happily take it away to reuse.
